Hey.. yeh I'd love to tell you about my experience with incubus!

I actually saw them play in melbourne, Australia, only 2 nights ago.

I don't think I can quickly sum up just how big of a fan I am of Incubus. Lets just say HUGE.
I have waited for them to announce an Australian tour for about 3 and a half to four years. When the finally did, I was ecstatic to say the least.. !

The final month leading up to the show was so exciting... and everyday my sister and I would wake up saying "16 days! --"15 days!" etc.

The show was everything I anticipated.. and Brandon Boyd is simply GORGEOUS.
I loved the fact that they plyed a lot of their old stuff, as well as new, so the fans that go way back had an amazing night too! The show was pure brilliance... and I'm serious when I say that I was quite sad when we were walking out of the theatre, with it all over. Today I wear my newly printed Incubus t-shirt and brag about how good my seats were to my mates.

Hey,
it's great to share the experience :) well i saw incubus in 8th of March in Istanbul. and honestly i could never imagine them to come over...so it was like my dreams were finally come true :)

and the show was....i really don't know the exact word to explain it but i can say EXCELLENT!!luckily i was in the first row, just in front of Michael.so i got five picks and Jose's stick at the end of the show!

i wish i could buy the Myf tickets so that i would have a chance to meet the band, but i hope i'll do it next time..

and the setlist was really great but i wish they'd play "the warmth" and "pardon me" too..cause in my country those are the songs which plays every clubs and radios all the time.and the concert area was like as hell!!i mean there are tons of better concert halls in istanbul,i just don't know why did it take place there??!!

but that 2 hours was the HAPPIEST HOURS of my life,i will never forget that night.and everytime i think about it butterflys fly in my stomach :)

after the show, maybe 2 weeks later i heard about mike's surgery and i felt terrible..cause i noticed in the show there was something wrong with michael but didn't understand the reason.so i just wished him to have the surgery before the tour, cause after a quick search i learned about "cts" and undertsand how much in pain Michael was,and i felt sorry!
but he is bettter now, thank god :)

at the end it feels so damn great to "experience the warmth, before i grow old" :)))

and i'm looking for the next album and don't know how am i going to wait for the next time i'm gonna see them!!??

Hi, I was lucky enough to see them three times in 2007. Here are my reviews as i posted them on my myspace:

The Warfield, San Francisco 1/9/07

Setlist: Quicksand / AKTSUO / Wish you Were Here / Have you Ever / Anna Molly / Paper Shoes / When It Comes /Redefine (remix) / New Skin (acoustic) / Pardon me (acoustic) / Earth to Bella 1 / Under My Umbrella / Light Grenades / Anti Gravity Love Song / SSLW / Dig / Nowhere Fast / Pendulous Threads / Pistola / Megalomaniac

The highlights:

New Skin Acoustic, it was awesome to hear such a different version of a favorite song. Light Grenades: I thought they couldn't rock any harder than this, but then they played Nowhere Fast. In Sad Sick LIttle World, Brandon and Jose played a cool drum jam together, then Brandon put on these lighted gloves and appeared to caress Ben with the lights during Ben's bass solo, after which he aimed the light gloves (grenades?) to spotlight Mike during his solo. The lighting effects were cool, the stage was lined with these "light rods" that picked up the different color lights moving around, hard to explain, but a very cool, sleek look. The stage was small, but the energy and the sound was huge. Anti Gravity Love Song had the whole place dancing... while Pardon Me Acoustic felt really intimate with 2300 people singing along. Someone threw a red dress on the stage and Brandon wore it during the encore... only in San Francisco.

Greek Theatre, Berkeley 7/14/07

Setlist: Quicksand / AKTSUO / Wish You Were Here / Anna Molly / Pistola / Vitamin / Love Hurts / Drive / Megalomaniac / Talk Shows on Mute / Sick Sad Little World / Dig /

Encore- The Warmth / 11 AM / Aqueous Transmissions

Simon Dawes opened up for Incubus (not one of my favorite bands) and Mikey came out as a guest during one of their songs. During the set change, one of the techs brought out a Sitar…. (correct me dana…) and I knew I was gonna get to hear the Aqueous setlist! The energy at this show was insane. Brandon said something like… "How you doing berkeley......y'all are some of the loudest boys and girls we've ever heard..... I thought you were supposed to be like.. all high and mellow and shit.." The way they do Pistola now makes it one of my favorite Incubus songs. But Megalomaniac is still probably one of the funnest live songs ever. SSLW was the same extended version they've been doing for awhile now…. minus the light gloves, but with a spotlight instead. Kil's parts on Dig really stand out live. Aqueous Transmission was the most perfect ending to a most awesome show

harvey's Lake Tahoe 7/15/07

Setlist: Nice to Know You / A Kiss To Send Us Off / Anna Molly / Circles / Vitamin / Love Hurts / Drive / Earth to Bella pt. 1 / Megalomaniac / A Certain Shade of Green / Summer Romance / Are You In? / Oil & Water / Pistola / Dig

Encore: SSLW / Wish You Were Here

I think this crowd was mainly Tahoe tourists with nothing better to do than see a concert at Harvey's. It was held in the parking lot of the casino and it wasn't sold out. I kept looking around and I was the only one singing along except during Drive and Wish You Were Here. This crowd really sucked and I think that the band knew it too. Brandon mentioned he couldn't really breathe (high altitude most likely) and at one point at the end he actually said "we're called Incubus"…. as if no one knew, and that's how the crowd felt. However, this setlist was kick ass…. I was hoping for some tunes from SCIENCE and they played three!!!!

Two nights of Incubus, two different setlists, 3 songs from SCIENCE… it was a great Incuweekend!!!

My first time seeing Incubus in 2007 was their first stop in Philly on the tour. It was January 29th, 2007. This was easily the best night of my life. Incubus is my favorite band, and it was my first time seeing them live. Further more, due to certain circumstances beyond my control, I didn't have a ticket until the night before, however it was not for lack of trying. But that is a story for another time. At the last minute I got a ticket to the show, and witnessed the best performance I have ever seen. I have no complains about that show, maybe because I'm bias, but more likely because they are flawless. After the show was when my night truly became the best night of my life. I was issued a backstage pass for the after party to meet (and hang out with) the band. It was like something you'd see on TV and immediately believe would never happen in the real world. It was a dream come true, and I can't express with words how phenomenal the experience was. All the members of the band are genuinely nice guys who clearly love each of their fans. They are just what any die-hard Incubus fan would expect them to be.

Later on in 2007, Incubus was coming back to Philly again. This concert, I made sure to get tickets as soon as I possibly could. The moment they went on sale, I ordered some for my friends and I. Normally I dread August, because it's the month before school starts up again, and puts an end to summer, however I was anxiously awaiting August 8, 2007, because I'd be seeing Incubus again, and I'd see them with many of my friends (unlike the first time). The only complaint I have about this particular show is not due to Incubus' performance. It was due to a factor they had no control over. It was easily the hottest day of the year and when you add that onto the fact you are jumping around, screaming your lungs out, and smooshed between so many people, it becomes nearly unbearable. However, even though this was a negative thing about the concert, I believe that it added to the experience and made it -- if not better, at least -- interesting. Incubus put on another breath-taking show, and it was another stellar night, despite nearly passing out on several occasions.

I just went to the concert in the heart of Indianapolis. For me last year, it was either Incubus, or Warped Tour, and the obvious decision, of course, is Incubus.

Everything about the concert was unbelievable. Incubus has an air about them that I cannot explain. When I hear their songs, it can create so many different emotions, and their lyrics can be beautiful, powerful, and even contain witty satire. Their music is pure genius, and then it is even more incredible that they can get on stage, and sound just as great live as they do in the studio.

This was my first time seeing them LIVE, and it is certainly not the last. I am heading to IU in Bloomington this year, and some students are trying to start a petition to get the band to come and play at the IU Auditorium... that would be incredibly kick ass.
